Case Study · Breeze Laundry

Building Houston From Near Zero While Scaling Richmond Into Broader Local Search Demand.

Breeze Laundry required two different SEO playbooks under one brand. Houston needed a search footprint built quickly from an almost blank baseline, while Richmond needed an existing local presence expanded into broader non-brand, service and content discovery without creating page cannibalisation.

Evidence Digest

The strongest proof, before the methodology.

Breeze is deliberately presented as two different SEO problems under one brand: Houston is a one-month launch case, while Richmond is an established-location scale case. The strongest first-party screenshots are shown directly, with third-party Semrush metrics kept clearly labelled.

Houston · GSC Insights · First Month

A near-zero launch baseline became 3.9K search impressions in 28 days.

The percentage is mathematically real but denominator-sensitive because Houston started from almost no search visibility. For that reason, the case study leads with the absolute first-month result. A nearby GSC Performance refresh showed 4.05K impressions, 59 clicks and a 9.1 average position.

Combined Semrush Organic Keywords

Houston remains strictly a one-month case. Richmond is shown as the scale case. The combined figures use the latest comparable snapshots available for each location and do not imply identical engagement start dates.

Starting Point

One Brand, Two Locations and Two Different Search Problems.

Houston entered the programme with almost no measurable search footprint. The September launch baseline showed zero measurable Semrush organic keywords and only minimal first-party organic acquisition.

Richmond already had local visibility, but the site still needed stronger service ownership, technical QA, internal linking and a content system capable of expanding non-brand search demand without competing with commercial pages.

Strategy

Build a Repeatable Local Search System Rather Than Duplicate Location Pages.

The programme combined technical SEO, keyword ownership, commercial-page optimisation, local relevance, controlled content and first-party measurement across both domains.

  • 01Assign clear keyword ownership across homepage, location, service and blog URLs.
  • 02Strengthen Houston / Westheimer and Richmond location relevance without generating thin locality pages.
  • 03Optimise core commercial services including Self-Service, Wash & Fold, Pickup & Delivery, Dry Cleaning and Commercial Laundry.
  • 04Use content to capture informational demand and route authority back to commercial destinations.
  • 05Expand Houston into Spanish search through a dedicated language landing page rather than duplicating English intent.
  • 06Use GSC and GA4 as the source of truth, with Semrush retained as a labelled third-party visibility indicator.

Houston · First Month

Houston Moved From an Almost Blank Baseline to Measurable First-Page-Average Discovery.

In the latest 28-day Search Console view, Houston generated 59 clicks and 4.05K impressions with a 9.1 average position. GA4 recorded 114 Organic Search sessions and 198 active users over the latest 28-day view.

The latest Semrush snapshot on 20 October showed 70 organic keywords and 149 estimated organic traffic. More importantly, GSC showed non-brand clicks from searches including “laundromat near me,” “washateria near me,” “laundromat Houston,” “laundry near me,” “dry cleaners near me” and “laundry service Houston.”

Because the engagement had only been active for roughly one month, the case study intentionally reports absolute outcomes rather than leaning on inflated percentages from a near-zero baseline.

Richmond · Scale

Richmond Expanded an Existing Footprint Into Stronger Non-Brand and Content Discovery.

The latest Richmond GSC views showed roughly 100+ clicks and 13K-14K impressions across 28 days, with Insights reporting +229% impression growth. GA4 recorded 152 Organic Search sessions in the latest acquisition view.

Semrush showed 146 organic keywords, 96 estimated organic traffic and AI Visibility 14 with six cited pages. Generic local searches such as “laundromat near me,” “washateria near me” and “laundry near me” were already producing clicks.

The content layer also began contributing new entry points, including informational laundry articles that moved from zero or low click activity into measurable discovery.

Outcome

The Same Operating System Worked Across Both a Launch Market and an Established Location.

Across the two latest 28-day Search Console views, Breeze generated more than 160 clicks and over 17K impressions. The corresponding GA4 acquisition views recorded 266 Organic Search sessions across Houston and Richmond.

The more important result is structural: Houston demonstrated that the framework can build discoverability quickly from a near-zero baseline, while Richmond showed that the same principles can expand an existing footprint into broader local, commercial and informational demand.
